Course 230: Business Development Strategy

Overview
Curriculum

This is an intensive business development planning course where you’ll create not only a clear identity and go-to-market strategy for your professional services firm but also all the documents and plans needed to execute on your business development strategy. This course is appropriate for management and in-house business development staff at professional services firms of all types including law firms, consultancies, and accounting firms. The course is commonly referred to as “The Revenue Side for Professional Enterprises” because it covers establishing a business identity that resonates with an ideal client, developing tactics to reach that audience, creating internal processes and performance metrics and evaluating staff thereon, and gaining the buy-in of key stakeholders so that your new strategy succeeds. A business consultant would charge 5-figures for this information that you can master in a month or so and at a fraction of the cost.

Like all Clientis learners, enrollees in this course have access to (i) the Clientis Business Plan Dashboard where you can create, edit, and even export your annual business development plan and (ii) the Clientis Knowledge Base containing written guidance on all aspects of business development.

Many enrollees in this strategy course also should benefit from Course 300: The Connector's Guide to Business Development
